This permanent architectural feature at the entrance to Sydney‚ Taronga Zoo is a dynamic and colourful introduction to the animals within. Lightwell was contracted to produce the synchronised multiscreen video and surround sound program embedded in the arch, crafted from hours of National Geographic Channel footage and field recordings. Designed specifically for a moving audience and fleeting glances, this constantly active program covers the full range of animal motion and behaviours, from pack and flock movements to single splashes and roars.
